Front Desk End User Proficiency Assessment

Purpose/Audience: Post class assessment guiding the learner through real world scenarios requiring them to complete documentation in the VUMC electronic health record (EHR) system. Using the Autograder tool built in Epic, the learner is then evaluated on their proficiency in using the Epic EHR.

Tools Used:

  • Articulate Storyline

  • Epic EHR

  • Autograder

  • xAPI to report to a LRS (Learning Record Store)

  • Javascript to execute the xAPI statements

EHR Internal Messaging

Purpose/Audience: HealthCare Professionals using the Epic EHR internal messaging system

Once the storyboard was complete, I worked with a graphics team located in Chile and a company in Florida to complete the voiceovers. Additional programming for advanced interactions were completed by a team in Puerto Rico.
